5 things to do during the Covid-19 Pandemic

During this day and age with COVID-19 aka the coronavirus impacting our daily lives along with social distancing and self quarantining. Though staying inside your home is beneficial for protecting yourself and others from the coronavirus, some of us may begin to get restless about not able to go and do the things we're used to doing prior to this pandemic.
But now since we all have time on our hands, this is a perfect opportunity to learn new skills and find new hobbies that you weren't able to do before the pandemic. I will provide 5 things that you can do during this pandemic that will not only keep your mind occupied at home but it will also provide you some life-changing skills as well.
1. Cooking or Baking

While on quarantine when you're stuck at home is a good time improve your cooking or baking skills in the kitchen.Cooking and Baking is our an outlet for people to express their creative sides while in the kitchen, while also allowing a relief of stress or sadness. Most importantly If you generally cook or bake at your home, mix it up by trying a new cuisine, a different method of cooking or baking you've never tried to put spice and adventure back in mealtime.
2. Gardening

Growing your own garden is a fantastic way to grown and eat organic produce. Gardening good for both the mind and body, and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Gardening is a simple way to get more fresh fruits and vegetables into your diet, and having a garden is a good way to save money because instead of buying expensive fruits or vegetables in a grocery store , you save money if you grow it on your own.
Gardening is an excellent opportunity to try new healthy foods that will help you and your family become more adventurous eaters while also adding a health lifestyle. Growing a various produce is as fun as it is healthy while growing produce requires some patience, but it’s worth it when you finally obtain fresh produce.
3. Writing

Writing is good for your brain, it creates a peaceful state of mind where you can write down your thoughts and feelings in order to help you relax. Writing provides intellectual, physiological, and emotional benefits by allowing themselves to express themselves through writing while allowing improved communication and thinking skills which are beneficial to both the workplace and life in general.
4. Knitting and Sewing

Knitting and Sewing isn't just a grandmother's hobby. Learning to sew your own clothes can result in your own amazing wardrobe tailored to fit your unique body using your own style and preference of fabrics and Knitting makes a wonderful hobby for the winter and can be very useful to know because you can craft your own hats, scarves, and mittens to fight off the cold temperatures. Both crafting methods Being able to sew has many benefits, from being to make your own clothing while it's also a great way to spend time with your family.
5. Drawing

Drawing is one of the most enjoyable ways of expressing yourself threw art. There are various different methods of drawing,whether it be from painting to sketching or even doodling, drawing can help improve your memory and imagination by using more of the visual and motor parts of our brains with art. Drawing creates all kinds of inspiration and drive people to have better lives by giving motivation.
Drawing’s a unique tool for communication because of this. Sometimes words isn't enough to express yourself but through art a whole story can be told through a drawing.
